Listing in a Pandemic

You’re ready to sell, but unsure of what to expect during the pandemic. You're not alone! Guidelines are changing on a regular basis, but I am doing all I can to keep buyers & sellers safe.

The California Association of Realtors has taken several steps to ensure that Realtors are keeping you safe, while also marketing your home to the best of our abilities. Here’s what I’m doing for my listings to get your home sold safely & quickly!

  • 3D Matterport tours of your home*

  • Advertising on all popular Real Estate platforms (Realtor.com, Redfin, Zillow, Metrolist, etc)

  • Individualized, custom website just for YOUR house

  • Pre-approval letter will be required for all showings to limit exposure in your home

  • Hand-sanitizer, gloves and masks will be provided for all showings

  • Wipe-down of common “high-touch” areas after scheduled showings

  • Open Houses are NOT allowed in California right now. Agents holding Open Houses are subject to fines and ethics violations with the Department of Real Estate.

The best outcome from these restrictions is that there will be less people in your home “just looking,” and more serious buyers that have a real interest in your home. You can take some steps to protect yourself when listing as well:

  • Turn on all lights before leaving the house on showing day

  • Wipe down “high-touch” surfaces when you leave, and when you get home (you can’t over sanitize those doorknobs!)

  • Ask your Realtor to schedule showings on the same day, to limit the amount of times you’re sanitizing

There will always be a risk when you are allowing strangers into your home, if you have someone that is high-risk in the home, consider whether you can purchase your replacement property BEFORE listing your current home.
